| Since the start of these programs in 2001 and by 2006, 516 school have subsidized. These schools all claim the importance of health, and promotion committees have set up in these schools. Some schools have adjusted work schedules and facilities; some schools have integrated health in various subjects; and some schools have collaborated with communities. Some examples are: |
(1)Tobacco hazards control education |
| Chungchen Senior High School of Kaohsiung City started in May 2006 smoke cessation by Chinese medicine classes. Thus far, 26 students have participated in, and six succeeded in quitting. They are awarded. |
※ Kuanyin Primary School of Ilan county promotes ”betel nut-free and no-smoking” movement to encourage community people to quit both.

(2)Bestel nut control education |
※ Kuanyin Primary School of Ilan County, a school in the remote area, begins a program on oval cavity health with the support of the community and parents.

(3)Oral Primary School of Taipei County |
※ Shenkeng Primary School of Taipei County integrates oral cavity health in health teaching; organizes dental angels; community dentists visit school for oral cavity examination; correction rate has reached 70%.

※ Taian Primary School of Taichung City; from the viewpoint of students, develops a health map and health learning passport to turn health concept into action. In the promotion of vision health, rates of normal vision have increased.
|
|
※Shenkdng Primary School of Taipei County, through promotion of healthy diet and by working with breakfast shops around the school, the number of students taking breakfast has increased to more than 90%.
|

※ Chungyi Primary School of Tainan City encourages students to take breakfast; the rate has increased.
|
|
※ Tungshang Junior High School of Ilan County analyzes issues related to healthy diet and proposes policies of the reform of healthy physiques. They have succeeded in weight reduction. The first year students with BMI of 18-24 are given health diet activities. Some students have reduced their weight from 96 and 86 kg.

※ Yuying Primary School of Changhua County, the male students have some progress in BMI.
