Engages health and education officials, teachers, teachers' unions, students, parents, health providers and community leaders in efforts to make the school a healthy place.

Health promoting school programs in Taiwan are actively promoted by the central government. For everlasting management, the Department of health of the Executive Yuan and the Ministry of Education set up collaborative teams and through sales promotion plans to help local organizations establish partnership relations to bring in manpower, facilities and financial resources

( A ) Promotion of Health Promoting School

Promotion is not necessary costly. The following cases illustrate the use of resources for promotion: the Tungshan Junior High School in Ilan County makes education on AIDS control part of daily life; kengliao Primary School of Taipei County publicize newspaper reports to encourage teachers and students; Kinmen County Education Bureau combines health and arts activities; Chungchen Primary School of Taipei participates in national exhibit on health promoting school programs to show their vitality; Health Bureau and Education Bureau of Chiayi County collaborate; Tainan City has the full support of the Mayor.

( B ) Partnership

The Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan, Education Minister, Deputy Minister of Health join together to encourage health promoting schools; Principal of the Tungshan Junior High School and Director-General of Ministry of Education sign a contract of cooperation; Deputy Magistrate of Chiayi County presents awards to thank support to the program.
